The situation
From time to time we meet individual needs that many people could not solve alone: a higher-value item, an urgent situation, or a targeted collection. You cannot pack for these in advance.
How we help
We believe nothing is impossible — with people pulling together, you can always try.
Through community effort, even a single donor, situations that our regular programmes do not cover can become possible. If the warehouse does not already have what is needed, we try to organise a targeted collection or gift.
How you can help
If you have a washing machine, fridge or TV in good working order that you no longer need — many families save for years for things like that. You can join targeted fundraisers with the payment reference given when we announce them. If you have an individual gift to offer, contact us on the contact page.
Examples
- a washing machine for a single mother
- firewood for an elderly couple
- a bicycle for a child
- a household appliance
- a special aid
- a targeted fundraiser
