We use every gift according to the donor’s intention. If you support us by bank transfer, please put the purpose of the donation in the payment reference. If you do not, or you write only a general note such as “donation” or “operating cost”, we will put it toward the foundation’s operating costs.

You can specify the purpose in the reference field. If you want to join a specific collection, use the reference text given in that collection’s announcement — those announcements currently appear mainly on our Facebook page.

If you are not joining a specific drive but do not want your gift to go to operating costs, you can use your own references, such as “family support”, “school supplies” or “food”.

Help truly lands when the donation can be used.

Please only give what you would still use yourself.

We cannot find a home for gifts brought because “I don’t think it’s good, but maybe someone else can use it”. We ask everyone to donate clothes, tools and furniture that can still be used for their intended purpose.

We do not have capacity to wash clothes or store them long term, so please donate clothing clean and in season. For example we cannot immediately place winter coats offered in spring, so we gladly accept those in autumn or early winter.
